How to get there
Aircraft
You can get to St. Petersburg by plane from Moscow and other Russian cities. The price for a ticket from the capital starts from 2,600 rubles one way, it takes about an hour to fly. There are also direct flights to St. Petersburg, for example, from Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Ufa, Nizhny Novgorod, Mineralnye Vody, Sochi.
Train
There are many trains running between the capitals — the fastest Sapsan and Nevsky Express take passengers in 4 hours. The price for this option starts from 3,100 rubles one way. The night train runs for an average of 8 hours and will cost less — from 1800 rubles for a reserved carriage.
Bus
From Moscow on the way you will have to spend from 9 hours, and pay from 1600 rubles one way. In St. Petersburg, most buses arrive at the bus station on the Bypass Canal.
Car
Driving on the M-11 Neva toll road from 6.5 hours — the fare will cost from 3,900 rubles, the exact amount is influenced by the type of car, time of day, day of the week and the presence of a transponder. You can also get there by free road, but the travel time will increase by about 3 hours.
