This was told by the Directorate of Specially Protected Natural Territories of Regional Significance of the Republic of Karelia.
Starting from January 1, 2025, the price for admission to 11 nature reserves and natural monuments in the region will double. Travelers will pay 200 rubles instead of 100.
The money raised will be invested in maintaining and improving the infrastructure of natural monuments and garbage collection.
Admission will become more expensive to such natural monuments as:
- “White Bridges” (Pitkyarantsky district);
- Hitoostrov (Loukhsky district);
- “Kumi-threshold” (Kalevalsky district);
- “Valaam Archipelago” (Sortavala district);
- “Bodies” (Kemsky district);
- “Ladoga coast” (Olonetsky district);
- “Arctic Circle” and “Keretsky” (Loukhsky district);
- “Tolvoyarvi” (Suoyarva district);
- “Soroksky” (Belomorsky district);
- “Muromsky” (Pudozhsky district).
