ATOR: where is the cheapest way to go on vacation in March

АТОР: куда дешевле всего улететь в отпуск в марте

March creeps by unnoticed, but we managed to catch ideas where to fly this spring month. The Association of Tour Operators of Russia spoke about the most economical destinations.

Experts analyzed the prices of flights for March 2025 between the largest airports in Russia and highlighted the key points: where are the highest fares, which airlines have the most affordable tickets and where you can carry luggage for free.

The cost of direct flights per person in one direction was compared, taking into account both minimum fares and baggage options. You should also pay attention to the baggage allowance, which ranges from 10 to 23 kg, depending on the airline.

The data shows general trends:

  • The cheapest city is Moscow. Tickets to all major airports cost less than 10,000 rubles, including with luggage.
  • The most expensive city is Novosibirsk. For less than 10,000 rubles, you can fly only to Moscow and St. Petersburg, and without luggage.
  • Mineralnye Vody offers the largest selection of airlines for flights.
  • But there is a limited choice in Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo). Only S7 Airlines operates flights between major airports.
  • The most budget airline is Smartavia, which offers the lowest prices in 10% of cases. Pobeda and Nordwind are also in the top three.

Some interesting facts about baggage transportation:

  • On flights between Moscow and Kaliningrad, Aeroflot’s minimum fare includes 23 kg of luggage.
  • Baggage fees can be 30-35% higher than baggage-free ones.

Well, until March arrives, choose where else you can go in February.
