Have you run out of ideas on where and how to take a selfie? Head towards the Sagrada Familia Temple, where a special area will be opened for this.
This will ensure the safety of tourists and the comfort of local residents. Observation deck of 6200 sq. m. m will be located between the facade of the Nativity and Gaudi Square on Carrer de la Marina Street.
Landscaping will begin after the summer. Its completion in April 2026 will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the death of architect Antoni Gaudi.
This project is part of a broader program to improve the infrastructure around Sagrada Familia in the amount of € 15.5 million. Barcelona has already implemented measures to combat the effects of excessive tourism, allocating €44 million for crowd control.
Experts noted that the city should not turn into a theme park. The Sagrada Familia, one of Gaudi’s greatest creations, attracts over 4.7 million visitors annually.
Here are nine unobvious resorts in Spain that are worth a visit.
