Sheremetyevo airport turned out to be the most convenient of the 32 Russian airports.
Convenience was assessed according to 15 criteria, including the number of airlines, baggage waiting time, service level and variety of cafes where you can have a snack before departure. By the way, in 2024 Sheremetyevo took the ninth position among European airports, receiving almost 44 million tourists. Sheremetyevo scored 50.7 points, followed by Domodedovo (50.2) and Novy Urengoy Airport (47.1). The top 10 also includes:
- Vnukovo (Moscow);
- Gagarin (Saratov);
- Chkalov (Nizhny Novgorod);
- Koltsovo (Yekaterinburg);
- Krasnoyarsk;
- Khomutovo (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk);
- Pulkovo (Saint Petersburg).
