Since June 1, 2025, more than 30 outdoor pools have been opened in Moscow as part of the Summer in Moscow project. On their territory there are children’s pools, recreation areas with sun loungers, changing rooms and bars. This is reported by the portal mos.ru .
It is specified that 14 swimming zones will be launched in 12 parks, including Sokolniki, Khodynskoye Pole and Izmailovsky Park. The pools in Kuzminki and Moskvoretsky parks will start operating on July 1, 2025. Also, 12 pools will open at the Moscow Seasons festival grounds in different districts of the city.
It will be possible to visit the pools at the Northern River Station, the Island of Dreams Park and sports complexes. Seat reservations are made through the portal mos.ru . There will be sun beds, showers and towel rentals in the recreation areas. The water is filtered and heated in multiple stages, and its quality is monitored in the laboratory.
Last year, outdoor pools became more popular, with about 900,000 people visiting them. And starting from April 1, 2025, through the Mosbilet service in Moscow, you can reserve picnic areas in 14 parks, which have all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
