The Louvre Museum will undergo a renovation, during which a unique gallery will be opened exclusively for Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece. This was announced by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
To visit the gallery, you’ll need two tickets: a standard entrance ticket and an additional ticket for the gallery. The cost of the latter is currently unknown, but the standard ticket for non-EU citizens costs 30 euros.
The French authorities hope that the new format will help to rethink the cultural significance of the museum and remind us of its other values.
The reconstruction is scheduled to be completed in 2031.
