How much I want to lie on a sun lounger, listen to the sound of the sea, and drink a cocktail with an umbrella! Where can I find a beach for this? For example, in the Krasnodar Territory! There, 107 beaches have received the highest category of the Blue Flag (with 22 more receiving the Yellow Flag and 16 receiving the Green Flag).
More than 70% of the beaches (there are almost 150 in total) meet the standards set by the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the region. An important aspect is obtaining sanitary and epidemiological certificates that confirm the safety of the beaches.
In the summer of 2025, tourists will have access to 445 well-maintained beaches on the Black and Azov Seas, as well as inland bodies of water.
Russia has a voluntary national beach classification system that helps beach owners provide comfortable and safe environments for visitors, while travelers can be confident in the quality of infrastructure and services. The classification system is available for all types of bodies of water, and it is based on criteria such as cleanliness, safety, and amenities.
