How we counted

Tickets. We checked and counted all locations for a week-long trip in August. We focused on the prices of round-trip flights from Moscow without luggage, and we looked at direct flights on Aviasales (unless otherwise specified). For trains, we took the cost of a compartment and searched for it on Yandex Schedules.

Hotels. We looked at the price of a room for two adults — of course, on Ostrovok. We chose hotels and apartments with a rating of at least 8, within walking distance of the beach.

Food. We focused on average eaters when it came to food — a lunch of a salad or a hearty pastry, and a dinner of one hot dish, without alcohol.

Entertainment. We checked the prices of sun loungers and museums based on reviews on Google and Yandex maps, and we also checked the menus on the websites of cafes and restaurants. We checked the prices of excursions on Tripster.

How the final cost was calculated:

  • the price of tickets;
  • the cost of the hotel (the given amount was divided in half, as we took a double room — we hope that no one was offended by this approach. If you’re paying for yourself and your travel partner, focus on the total amount);
  • multiply the average food expenses by seven days;
  • include four days of luxurious sunbathing on a sun lounger, one excursion, or a visit to a museum.

Attention: This is an approximate cost

The actual cost may be higher or lower depending on your needs for food, comfort, and entertainment. Some may argue, “These prices haven’t been this low in a long time!” and they would be right in their own way, but it’s important to remember that we’re considering the lower end of the cost.

All prices are current as of June 2025. They may fluctuate based on the month and currency exchange rates. The article lists the prices in rubles according to the exchange rate in June.

Foreign Resorts

Antalya, Turkey

The eternal classic of millions of tourists. Despite the rise in prices, Russians have been flying to the Turkish coast, and they will continue to do so.

Tickets. From 40,000 rubles, you can find last-minute deals for less.

Visa. It is not required for trips up to 60 days.

Accommodation. From 28,000 rubles per week for two people with breakfast. For example, the VENUS Boutique Hotel, located in the Konyaalti district and rated 9.6, offers such conditions.

Food. As with everything else, prices largely depend on the location: the further away from the tourist center and the waterfront, the cheaper it is. For example, dining at a restaurant in the Old City will be significantly more expensive than at a cafe two or three blocks away from Konyaalti. In general, you can stay within 2,000 rubles per person per day.

Here are some examples from cafes in the Konyaalti area.

  • a portion of borek with tea for breakfast — from 200 rubles;
  • large shawarma with fish — from 320 rubles;
  • freshly squeezed orange juice — from 240 rubles;
  • amazing fried lagman in a Ugurian restaurant — 800 rubles.

Transportation. The cost of a travel card is 100 rubles, and one tram ride costs 54 rubles. You can get a budget-friendly ride from the airport to the center by walking a couple of kilometers from the international terminal to the tram stop.

Excursions, beaches, and other entertainment. The pebble beach of Konyaalti stretches for 8 km, and each of them is free and accessible to any tourist. There are toilets and showers, lifeguards on duty, a cycling path, a running track, playgrounds and workout areas on the embankment. For a sunbed, you will have to pay 400-800 rubles, depending on the level of the beach club.

You can walk around the Old City and admire the Adrian Gate for free. You can swim on a boat from 2000 rubles, go on an excursion to Pammukale — from 5500 rubles. And going to a real oriental bazaar is an invaluable experience: some people get it for free, but it costs a lot of money for shopaholics. See our Antalya travel guide for entertainment ideas.

Total for the week: 70 000 — 75 000 rubles. It’s for love!
