The event will take place from July 11 to 13, 2025. The program of the spiritual and educational project “Dostoevsky Days in Optina Pustyn” includes various discussions, concerts, theatrical performances, film screenings, and literary readings.
Guests will be offered tours of the monastery and visits to the Museum of the Optina Elders.
In the village of Gubino, there will be a park with literary benches and access to an electronic library of Dostoevsky’s works through QR codes. An exhibition of student and schoolchildren’s works, as well as fairs and workshops, will be held on the embankment of Kozelsk.
The Optina Pustyn is a monastery for men, founded in the 14th century.
