For the first time since the 2019 fire, the towers of the cathedral will be open to visitors starting from September 20, 2026. Admission will be paid at a cost of 16 euros.
There will also be a limit on the number of visitors, with a maximum of 400,000 visitors per year.
To enhance safety, the cathedral will be equipped with new smoke detectors and modern surveillance cameras. Restoration work is currently underway, including the reconstruction of the spire and Gothic interior elements. The restoration is scheduled to be completed in December 2026.
