At the Biguiyuan Phoenix Hotel, you can rent rooms where live companion dogs: huskies, golden retrievers and west highland white terriers. The cost of the night is 499 yuan (approximately 5600 rubles).
The service was launched in July – more than 80 people have already booked rooms with dogs, complaints have not yet been received. For example, one family without their own pets chose a terrier, and their daughter was very happy when she took the dog for a walk in the garden.
The hotel takes safety precautions, such as providing compensation for bites and warning guests not to harm the animals. All the dogs undergo health checks and training. Some of the dogs belong to the hotel, while others are rented from trainers. The hotel jokes that the dogs receive a salary of 100 yuan per day.
On social media, opinions about the service are divided: some people are concerned about safety, while others find the idea interesting for those who are afraid of staying alone in a hotel.
