A large Yuzhnoberezhnaya embankment is planned to be built in Yalta.

В Ялте планируется строительство Большой южнобережной набережной

Its length will be about eight kilometers, according to the mayor of the city, Yanina Pavlenko. The embankment will stretch from Livadia to the cargo port and create new spaces for walking and relaxing.

Work will be carried out on four sites: the restoration of Solnechny Beach, landscaping at the Levant Hotel (to begin in 2026), the construction of an embankment between Massandrovsky and Akter beaches, as well as a new embankment from Izumrudny Beach to the port. The completion of the work is scheduled for 2030.

In 2025, it is also planned to complete the reconstruction of 23 coastal defenses on the coast of Bolshaya Yalta. At the end of June, the Emerald Beach will open with an updated infrastructure.

In addition, reconstruction of the main Yalta embankment is planned in the coming years, for which architects are developing draft proposals. Yalta will be ready to welcome tourists, although there are still problems with parking and road repairs.
