It won’t get lost anymore! Apple has updated the Locator app, adding the Share Item Location feature to search for lost baggage at airports.
Now iPhone, iPad and Mac users can share the location of AirTag. This will simplify the process of notifying airlines of the location of suitcases.
To share information, the passenger needs to open the application, select the desired item and send the link to the airline representatives. The link is valid for seven days, and it can be closed ahead of time after the baggage is found.
Some airlines, such as United and Delta, will begin testing the new system before the end of the year, and the official launch is scheduled for early 2025.
Well, in the meantime, we are talking about how to properly pack your luggage for a trip.
