Upgrade your climbing skills! Go to the mountains of Sochi for this. The Via Ferrata (iron trail) route opened there. It runs at an altitude of more than 2,300 meters above sea level along the cliffs of the Aibga mountain range.
The route starts from the upper station of the Caucasian Express cable car, then passes through a rocky terrain. It is impossible to pass it without special climbing equipment.
All participants will be able to see the spurs of the Main Caucasian ridge, the Rosa Khutor resort and its surroundings from the trail.
A special steel cable is stretched along the entire route — part of a continuous insurance system. There are also iron brackets and steps installed there. Therefore, novice climbers will also be able to walk this trail.
Every day, before the opening of Via Ferrata, rescuers check. Participants are given protective helmets and gloves. The route can be completed in 20-40 minutes.
