How to get there
The only way to fly to Spain right now is with a stopover, for example, in Turkey, the UAE, or Yerevan. There are no direct flights, which affects the cost of tickets — approximately 90,000 from Moscow to Barcelona, if we look at the prices for July. You can fly from St. Petersburg to Malaga with one stopover (most often in Turkey), but the cost is from 130,000 round-trip with baggage.

When is the best time to visit Spain?
It depends on what aspect of your vacation you prioritize: sightseeing, museums, fairs, or beaches, and what weather and water temperature you prefer. If you prefer warmer weather, it is recommended to visit Spain from June to September. And if you feel comfortable in the sea at a water temperature of +18 °C, and at the same time you like deserted beaches, then you can go to the islands in winter, and hotels are cheaper at this time.
Don’t forget about Christmas markets – in major cities in Spain, as well as throughout Europe, they start in late November or early December. Swim at this time in Barcelona will only be possible for hardened walruses: the sea cools down to +13 °C.
