Cool news! Starting from August 1, 2024, purchases can be paid in Russian rubles at Duty Free shops located at Dubai International Airport (UAE).
Tourists can use both cash and non-cash payments (using UnionPay cards). The exchange takes place at the rate of the dirham. The innovation applies to shops in Terminal 2 of Dubai International Airport. Aeroflot and flydubai airlines arrive there.
However, the innovation does not work in all stores yet, but in the near future this opportunity will appear everywhere in Dubai Duty Free.
