A new eco-friendly hotel has opened in the village of Sinkovo, based on a restored late 19th-century schoolhouse.
In 1898, local peasant Yegor Stolyarov built a school, and 127 years later, the building was restored and transformed into a cozy place for relaxation.
The 1898 Hotel: Recreation and Reading House has books, board games, ten cabins, a pond, a swimming pool and petanque courts. Guests are offered three electric bike routes to explore the surrounding villages and attractions.
