Nizhny 800 has published a full program of events for the New Year holidays in the city.
Choose where you want to go.:
- A Christmas tree has already been installed at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, and there are a lot of people here. The opening of the rink will take place on December 28, and the fair, carousel and food court will be launched soon.
- The rink is already operating in Switzerland Park, and performances for children will be held there from December 23 to December 31. featuring mimes and fairy-tale characters. The details are here.
- On December 28, the winter festival of light and wonders will begin in the Protected Areas. The fair, guided tours and workshops will be held in the area of the Church of the Three Saints and the Gusev estate (Slavyanskaya 4).
- Festive exhibitions are already operating in museums, the last one will open on December 27: in the NGHM — “From Christmas to Carnival: history, traditions and a few miracles”, in the Arsenal — “Kaleidoscope of French Life” and “Fragility”, in the Rukavishnikov estate — “The Magical world of winter Holidays”, in the WORKSHOP — “Digital Fairy Tale”.
- From December 24 to January 6, The Nutcracker began at the Opera and Ballet Theater, and from December 20 to January 8, the New Year’s play “The Secret of the Old House” will be performed at the Central Music Theater.
- Arzamas will become the Christmas capital! A train with a steam locomotive will run every day from December 29 to January 12 (except December 31). There from Nizhny Novgorod — at 10:45, back from Arzamas — at 17:25.
