Get ready, let’s go watch a movie in the open air! The Summer Film Festival will start in Gatchina’s Priory Park on June 14, 2025.Park.Cinema”, which will be held on Saturdays throughout the summer.
The guests will enjoy screenings of Russian films, Soviet classics and cartoons, as well as musical performances.
Among the premieres are the films “Flint”, “Devyataev”, “Blood Type” and cartoons by Soyuzmultfilm studio, such as “A Kitten named Woof” and “Bremen Town Musicians”. For fans of Soviet cinema, a demonstration of the paintings “For family reasons” and “Assa” is provided.
Each film screening will be accompanied by musical performances.
The festival will open on June 14 with a quiz about Soviet cinema, the play “Gatchina is a familiar stranger” and screenings of the films “The Wizard of Oz. The Yellow Brick Road” and “The Love of the Soviet Union”.
The festival will last until August 30th. Admission to all events is free. Guests will be provided with poufs and blankets, and a food court will be available. Details can be found on the festival’s website.
