In France, from July 1, 2025, a ban on smoking on beaches, in parks, near schools, at indoor bus stops and sports facilities will come into force. This was reported in the Ouest-France edition. No more tobacco!
This ban, already in force in some municipalities, is now being implemented at the national level. The exceptions are electronic cigarettes, and smoking will remain allowed on the summer terraces of cafes and restaurants.
The authorities plan to reduce nicotine levels in vapes and limit the range of flavors.
