Saudi Arabia is not standing still! The country plans to build the tallest building in the world and the Eternal Garden.
A major project has been announced on the Red Sea — Laheq resort, which will turn the kingdom into a tourist paradise. This “Eternal Garden” will be located on an archipelago of 90 islands and will occupy 400 hectares. The construction project of the British studio Foster + Partners will be completed in 2028.
The resort will include luxury apartments, hotels, shopping and entertainment areas, golf courses and marinas. Special attention is paid to wellness and water sports, including diving.
The opening of Laheq will take place after the completion of the Desert Rock Resort. Developer Red Sea Global plans that by 2030 all facilities will be powered by renewable energy sources and will preserve mangrove forests and coastline.
The concept of a general urban development plan for a new district in the northern part of the capital, Riyadh, which will be a full-fledged city, was also presented in Saudi Arabia. In its center, the tallest building in the world will be erected, which will rise more than two kilometers above sea level.
