The story of the creation of the symbol of the city is funny. In 2022, the All-Russian congress of Santa Claus took place in Novosibirsk, which is how the joke appeared: “All the grandfathers are in place, but where are the women?”. So it was decided that the city should become the birthplace of snow women.
In addition, Novosibirsk plans to organize an annual festival under this brand. Last winter, such an event even got into the Russian Book of Records — then the participants made about 130 snowmen.
