It’s an elegant vase with a lush composition of sculptural images of daisies, poppies, bluebells, and other field plants. All the flowers are handcrafted, with painted petals, and the vase is made of stained glass. To add to its beauty, a flower bed of 300 species of live plants has been arranged around it.
In the evening, a light show begins, with 70 spheres illuminating the flowers. There are also 1939-style benches nearby, just like in the old photos of VDNKh. You can sit, admire, and take great photos — this location is photogenic.
The installation is part of the “Summer in Moscow” project, a large-scale city program with festivals, concerts, exhibitions, and free activities throughout the city. This summer, the capital will be especially exciting.
