There was a fire in Notre Dame five years ago. And here’s the great news: on December 8, 2024, it will be opened to visitors.
However, the surrounding areas will be rebuilt until 2028. Back in 2021, the cleaning of the building and the surrounding area was completed, and then the restoration inside the temple continued.
The temple itself is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. And before Notre Dame burned down in a fire, it was visited by about 12 million people a year.
Well, while the temple has not yet been opened, we suggest you look at other attractions. For example, in the Vologda, Tver and Yaroslavl regions.
