The idea to create a counter arose back in 2022 from climbers from St. Petersburg. And now the device has been installed on top. It works like this: every climber who has conquered Elbrus must pull a special lever — after that the number on the screen will be updated.
The counter resembles a climbing ice axe and is made of stainless steel. It is assumed that he will work for at least 50 years. And the largest number that can be recorded is 999,999 people.
