Getting high and relaxing on trips around Russia, without thinking about where and what to eat, will now be easier: order healthy and delicious meals delivered to the apartments directly in the Islet app. The food will be delivered by couriers of the Grow Food ready-to-eat service.
Currently, the geography of deliveries includes Moscow and St. Petersburg, as well as the Moscow and Leningrad regions, but soon the list will include other popular cities for travel.
What is Grow Food
Grow Food is a balanced food delivery service. They use it to avoid wasting time on cooking, eating a variety of meals and not snacking on anything during the day. This allows you to stick to the regime and saves, for example, if you have a busy program during your trip or you are traveling with children. After all, they are still very picky and do not like to eat the same thing every day.
There are more than 500 dishes on the Grow Food menu: from cheesecakes to salmon steaks. The dishes change every day, so they won’t have time to get bored. It is not necessary to order the first or second compote, you can limit yourself to a snack so that something appetizing is always waiting for you in the apartment. These can be fresh salads and fruit mixes, from strawberries to pineapple cubes (the refrigerator will come in handy!).

How to place an order
In the application
You can order dishes with delivery in the Island application immediately after completing the reservation. The confirmation page will display “Food delivery to your apartment”.
On the website
So far, it will not be possible to arrange food delivery on the Island’s website, but it can be done in our application! If you have booked an apartment or apartments in the web version of the service, you just need to open the Island application, select the “Trips” section and find your order – you will see the Grow Food banner in it.
After that, you can select the type of power supply by clicking on the “More options” button:
- breakfast,
- full board.
Do not forget to specify the phone number and the number of days during which you plan to eat Grow Food dishes. Ready-made food is delivered for a maximum of two days, that is, if ordered for a week, couriers will bring the two-day ration regularly to the approved slots.
After that, you will only have to send a request and wait for a confirmation call. The partner will specify the composition of the dishes and agree on the delivery time:
- on the same day — when booking accommodation with check-in “today”;
- the next day — when ordering the day before;
- in the morning on the first day of your trip — if you book an apartment in advance, for example, a week in advance.
The payment link will be sent by Grow Food to the customer’s mobile phone number, and a banner “Application sent” will appear in the Islet application.
Everything is ready: it remains to wait for the call and discuss the details of the order.

You can save money
Ordering ready-made portions of food will not hit your wallet, especially if you compare it with eating in cafes and restaurants. For example, a full board at Grow Food with breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner for one person costs 1,290 rubles when ordering through the Ostrovka app. The same meals in cafes and restaurants in Moscow and St. Petersburg will cost many times more expensive, at least 3,000 rubles per day per person.

Won’t take long
The process is fast — you put a couple of ticks without leaving the Island application, and you’re done. All that remains is to reheat delicious and healthy dishes in the microwave or on the stove, so that minimal household appliances in rented apartments are enough. Well, the refrigerator will come in handy — for storage.
The ability to order healthy meals that take into account calories, proteins, fats and carbohydrates is important for those who want to eat in a balanced way and not puzzle over “edible” issues on a trip.
