Spas and white-sand beaches are losing their popularity. More and more often, people choose where to go on vacation based on how other vacationers look.
A survey by Full Frame Insurance showed that 27% of respondents choose a destination based on the attractiveness of the vacationers. This figure is higher among men, at 35%. Zomers are the leaders in this approach: 59% of the Z generation consider “the opportunity to meet potential partners.”
Among boomers, only 7% admit that people’s appearance influences their choices. For zimmers, it’s more like a social study: they’re interested in who visits a place, how they look, and whether they’re open to socializing.
Inclusivity is also important: 42% of respondents prefer places with diversity in body type, race, and age. For Gen Z, this is particularly relevant, as 64% find diverse images more appealing.
Almost a third of young travelers take their friends with them just for the content. For them, a trip doesn’t count until the photos are posted on social media. Photos become a way to express themselves and show their place in the world, whether it’s a sunset or a guy on a moped. Sometimes, it’s enough to make you want to visit a place.
You can also make new friends in cultural places, such as events in Moscow!
