Tourists will soon have the opportunity to test a huge artificial reef in Dubai. However, its construction has just begun, so there is still time to take diving courses.
The first modules of one of the world’s largest artificial reefs, Dubai Reef, were presented in the emirate. The project is being implemented on the Persian Gulf coast, and its area will be 200 km2.
The structure will look like an archipelago of islands connected to each other, and an artificial reef will be located under it. There will be more than 1 billion corals and 100 million mangroves.
And guests will be able to visit eco-houses, hotels, shops, recreation areas powered by renewable energy sources, including solar and wave.
By the way, we remind you that a rain street and the world’s tallest Ferris wheel have appeared in Dubai. The Emirate knows how to surprise!
