How convenient it is to travel by car… Surely the NAFI Analytical Center (National Agency for Financial Research) thought so and conducted a study, during which it turned out that the main purpose of such trips is to explore new cities and localities. 37% of the respondents (mostly women) voted for it.
Beach holidays are in second place among the goals (16%), popular among young people aged 25-34 (21%) and residents of the North Caucasus (26%). The third place is occupied by trips to resorts (13%) and studying architecture and urban history (13%). But fishing and hunting are of interest to 11% of the respondents, mostly men aged 35-44 years.
Experts noted that the growing interest in car travel is associated with savings and the desire for individual recreation, which requires the development of infrastructure along the highways. They also suggested that tour operators develop flexible routes with the possibility of partial organization through platforms.
